Watching mobland, and just enjoying the diverse character motivations, personalities and quirks. Tom Hardy's role, while excellently played and well written, unfortunately comes off almost the least dynamic character in the show due to him being basically typecast into these sorts of roles all the time. Paul, a bodyguard of the titular Mob family who is played by Emmet Scanlan, is a different story. He's oft used as a comedic reactionary, his character being a big killer but quiet and very soft behind his facade, and they allow his paradoxical nature to play out in small but interesting, almost quaint scenes. And this show has probably one of my favorite Pierce Brosnan characters I've seen him play since he was the scientist in The Lawnmower Man (I have low standards).
