Welcome to Derry, Newspaper Blend, and the Spoon Saga

It's got this cool newspaper wrapper to it. They use Korean newspapers. I have no idea why but they do.

 And I'm watching Star Trek: Enterprise, the series I sort of skipped over. I don't know what time period it came out, I would assume early 2000sish cuz that's when I wasn't watching as much television. I was a bit more social at the time I think. Anyway, it's cool to catch up to the show. It's got elements more of old television that I like. Not so much old Star Trek even though there are also elements that of Star Trek that it embodies more so than current Star Trek projects that I've seen. 

This cigar is really good. Let's talk about the spoon. 

There is a spoon, a very specific spoon. It's a long spoon rather it's got a long handle to it. The spoon part of it. The part that spoons if you will is normal sized or maybe it's a little wide at the hip. If that's what you would call that is. In any event, an important spoon, it's important to me because it can reach to the bottom of the peanut butter jar peanut butter jar that I access every single day to make the drink that I drink every single day. The spoon is not always available and by that I mean I have a. I have not seen the spoon in months until it popped up the other day for maybe 2 days and now it's disappeared again. It makes me feel like I'm f****** crazy. It's a spoon. It shouldn't bother me but it does. I understand once in awhile someone leaving it somewhere but for this thing to disappear for the length of time that it does. It's more than a man should have to bear. 

Anyway, I've slept and I've rested and I still haven't accomplished s*** but today's a new day and maybe I'll stay up today and and get some stuff done. I don't know. There's not much I could do today. I did do my duck races though so there's that or I did two duck races. One hasn't completed yet but that's gotten me some money so that's a good thing. But other than that I still need to get the car done. I still need to take a deeper look at my finances even though I have started to skim them. I still need to take a deeper look and there's some other s*** I'm sure I needed to do that I'm not remembering right now but at least I'm talking about it on record so I can go back and look if I need to.

TV rant:

So with rest comes television because I'm a lazy s*** so tonight I binged welcome to Derry which is a TV series based in the it universe. Stephen King's it. It's a decent show. Surprisingly. It's intriguing. It's got mystery. It's got plenty of Gore action. I think it's better than the movies. And of course it makes an excellent companion to the movies. 

They have a character in the show that I don't see other people talking about yet, but I'm sure in in horror circles this is being talked about a lot but one of the characters they named Dick halloran. He has psychic abilities. He's a black gentleman at the right time. Obviously he is supposed to be a young version of the dick caloran that later goes on to work for the overlook hotel in Stephen King's The shining. I thought that was a nice touch and a deep cut if you will. A lot of television shows try to do things that tithe them into movie, universees and things and usually comes off as cheesy garbage. This I think could pay off better than those other attempts you usually do.
